Jude Bellingham names the 2 Real Madrid stars he has learned the most from

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Thursday provided an insight into the teammates to have taught him the most from a footballing perspective since his arrival at the club last summer.

Midfielder Bellingham, for his part, is of course in the midst of a remarkable debut campaign in the colours of Real.

Since linking up with Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund in a big-money transfer last summer, the Englishman has gone on to establish himself as not only a fan favourite, but an early contender for the next Ballon d’Or.

As much comes owing to a haul of 20 goals and 10 assists across 33 appearances to date.

And yet, still just 20, the likelihood is that Bellingham has not even scratched the surface when it comes to his potential as a player.

The youngster still has much to learn at the very top level of the game, a subject which was put to Bellingham himself during a recent media exchange.

Drawn on which members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad he has been able to learn the most from across his first year in Madrid, the midfield goalscorer highlighted two of his engine room partners, in the form of Toni Kroos, and Luka Modrić:

“Toni [Kroos] and Luka [Modrić] are probably the two,” Bellingham began, as cited by Goal. “Technically, they don’t make mistakes and do the basics unbelievably well. The best part about playing with them is that they’re always open to teach you. I’m always open to learn and if I can get 1% from them every single day, then l’m gonna do it. I speak to both of them quite often and have a good relationship with both of them.”
