Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s midweek fixture against Elche, Zinedine Zidane admitted he wants Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Lucas Vázquez to be offered new deals by the club.
There has been recent speculation around a new one-year deal for Modric, with the Croatian in excellent form for Los Blancos.
“The debate is there and you know how I feel about these things. We want all these players to stay here because they are the best. I want these things sorted out and quickly, of course.”
Ramos and Vázquez have yet to renew their current deals, but like Modric, have both been consistent performers for Madrid over the past couple of months.
