Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s league match against Real Sociedad on Sunday, Zinedine Zidane admitted Gareth Bale has been brilliant at Madrid despite a tough couple of years.
“We know the player he is, and all that he has done. He has been a spectacular player. There are negotiations, he’s there in London. We’ve never had a problem. I know what he’s done for this club, no-one will change that. Things happened for certain circumstances. It isn’t done yet so I can’t say more, but we haven’t had problems like some say.”
