Zinedine Zidane on draw with Real Betis: “It is two points dropped.”

Zinedine Zidane spoke to Movistar after Real Madrid’s 0-0 draw with Real Betis on Saturday.

“The league isn’t getting away from us but it is two dropped points. We tried today, defensively we were strong but we didn’t do it in front of goal. This can happen, it’s difficult because we’re playing every three days. When you score, it’s always much better. Now we look to Tuesday against Chelsea. We have to continue doing the things we’re doing and fight until the end.”

On returning players

“Carvajal was good today, he played his part. He was out for a long time. Hazard is back too, I think the 15 minutes he played were good, with energy. We’re happy to have him back, we’ll need him.

On title race

“Physically, it wasn’t a problem for us today, we finished the game better than recent games. I don’t think the other teams around us will take maximum points from their remaining games, and if they do we don’t win the league (laughs).”
