Speaking to the media after Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over neighbours Atlético on Saturday night, head coach Zinedine Zidane was full of praise for his players.
“Modric and Kroos are f***ing brilliant. They’re exceptional. Karim Benzema too… And Lucas Vázquez is phenomenal, Dani Carvajal too, and our captain Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane… Everyone is very good. I’m happy with the whole game, like the other night in the Champions League. And it was against Atlético Madrid, who had gone 26 games unbeaten.”
