Youssef En-Nesyri makes history with goal against Granada

Youssef En-Nesyri has etched his name into Sevilla’s history books. As mentioned by the club’s official X account, the Moroccan forward scored again on Sunday in the victory against Granada (3-0), elevating himself to the club’s tenth all-time leading scorer – tied with Wissam Ben Yedder. Quite the achievement.

Whilst he has endured some tough nights during his time at Sevilla, En-Nesyri has also delivered many successful ones. This Sunday, the Moroccan, often criticized for his footwork and repeatedly courted by the Premier League, found the net again, solidifying his place among Sevilla’s elite goal-scorers.

With 70 goals, he shares the tenth spot with Ben Yedder, continually adding to his tally in Sevilla’s colours.

En-Nesyri’s future is uncertain, especially given his impressive numbers this season (17 goals), his short contract until 2025, and the fact that he is only entering his prime at just 26. He stands as a significant attraction for suitors in the summer transfer market.

The summer months will determine his fate, but for now, the Moroccan continues to carve his name into Nervión’s history.
