The latest social media activity on the part of La Liga outfit Real Betis has piqued widespread attentions this weekend.
This comes after the Verdiblancos sent a message to two of Spanish football’s biggest clubs.
Manuel Pellegrini’s troops were of course back in action on Saturday night, making the daunting trip to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown with table-topping Barcelona.
When all was said and done in a tightly-contested affair, Betis stood tall, to secure a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
As much marked a blow for Hansi Flick’s Barca, who missed the opportunity to surge a full six points clear atop the Spanish top-flight.
And, fully aware of as much, the social media team at Real Betis therefore made use of the opportunity to have some lighthearted fun.
In a post on their official ‘X’ account, the Andalusians tagged their Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid counterparts, alongside the message:
‘You are welcome!’
