Speaking to RTBF, Atlético Madrid midfielder Yannick Carrasco has explained how he received approaches from other clubs.
“Some clubs knocked on my door this winter but I’m doing well at Atlético, so I wanted to continue my adventure here. I feel good here, I’m at home. I’m well-integrated. I’m an important player on the pitch and in the dressing room.
“I’m of a certain age too, but in football, as they say, you can never predict the future.
“There are highs and lows. All in all, it’s a good season I’m having. But maybe next year I will be asked the same question. I will try to do my best every year to have a better Carrasco than the previous one.”
