Barcelona may not make a statement about Xavi today, according to journalist Damià López.
There will be no official announcement until the lawyers have finished drawing up the contracts with Al Sadd. The 41-year-old will travel to Barcelona tomorrow and sign a contract until 2024, according to López.
Xavi said goodbye to the staff and players of Al Sadd earlier on Friday. The new FC Barcelona manager will be presented at Camp Nou on Monday.
