Wolves agree €30m deal for Celta Vigo star

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Celta Vigo is all set for a move to England, with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto of Relevo, who points towards Jørgen Strand Larsen as the player in question.

Versatile attacker Strand Larsen, for his part, is fresh off an impressive campaign in Spain’s top-flight.

Across 37 appearances for a relegation-battling Celta Vigo outfit, the 24-year-old racked up a head-turning 13 goals and three assists.

Such production piqued the attentions of a whole host of clubs across not only Spain, but all of Europe.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, one such outfit are on the verge of closing a deal for his signature.

The suitor in question? Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As per Matteo Moretto:

‘Agreement between Wolverhampton and Celta de Vigo for Jørgen Strand Larsen. The price is €30 million.’

Negotiations are now in progress between the Wolves brass and the Norway international, over the terms of a long-term contract.
