Several members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media, to provide their respective responses to the utter brilliance of basketball star Stephen Curry.
As much comes after Curry proved himself the star of the show, en route to the USA clinching gold at the Olympic Games.
Steve Kerr’s star-studded roster faced off against host country France on Saturday, in the finale of the Olympics.
The US ultimately emerged on the right side of the result, notching 98 points to France’s 87.
And it was Curry whose name took its place front and centre in the headlines on the back of the final whistle in Paris.
This came after the Golden State Warriors star, widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all-time, exploded into life in the 4th quarter, draining four three-pointers to hold off a late French rally.
And, as alluded to above, in the midst of as much, a number of high-profile names from the football world were watching on in awe.
Three such players came from Real Madrid, with another having recently called time on his stint with the Spanish champions.
