‘Will play in the semis’ – Robert Lewandowski confident Barcelona will get better of PSG

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has this evening provided an insight into his hopes for the club’s upcoming Champions League showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.

The subject of the club’s endeavours on the continent has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Barcelona across the day to date.

This comes after the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League pitted Xavi’s troops against French giants PSG.

The tie has given rise to a whole host of fascinating talking points, from the returns of both Ousmane Dembélé and Luis Enrique to Catalunya, to Barca’s historic comeback at the expense of the capital outfit back in 2017.

Speaking to the media on Friday, the task awaiting he and his teammates in overcoming an always dangerous PSG outfit was in turn put to the aforementioned Robert Lewandowski.

And the Polish international, in his response, conveyed full confidence in his belief that, when all is said and done between the clubs, it will be Barcelona who march on to a place in the last four of the Champions League

“I am sure that we are going to play better than in the two games against Napoli,” Lewandowski explained to TV3, as cited by Mundo Deportivo.

“And we will play in the semi-finals,” he concluded.
