Where to watch the Champions League final for free in the UK – It’s not being shown on YouTube

Fans looking to watch the Champions League final tomorrow without a subscription could be in for a shock if they are expecting it to be on YouTube like it has been the last eight years.

UK broadcaster TNT Sports (formerly BT Sports) has been showing the showcase clash on the free-to-view platform YouTube since 2016, making Europe’s biggest club football match free to everyone living here.

This is no longer the case, however, fans can still watch the match for free, but it won’t be as simple as logging on to YouTube just ahead of Kick-off.

Instead, fans will have to make a free account on the broadcaster’s Discovery+ platform and stream the match there.

This is important to know should you be inviting friends and family round for the big match, as it may take a bit of time to sign up and those logging onto YouTube just ahead of kick-off expecting to watch the match there could be in for a nasty surprise.

Alternatively, if you’re unable to watch the match live, keep an eye on our X (Twitter) pages @GSpanishFN and @GGFN_ for live coverage of the match and all the build-up.
