When will Real Madrid’s fans see Jude Bellingham on the pitch again?

The appeal launched by La Liga giants Real Madrid to have the ban handed down to star midfielder Jude Bellingham overturned has been rejected.

This means that the 20-year-old will be unavailable for selection to boss Carlo Ancelotti over the coming weeks.

Just how long, though, will it be until the Real Madrid faithful see their side’s top scorer back in competitive action in the club’s colours?

The answer? A full three weeks.

Bellingham, of course, was shown a red card for his understandable protests in the aftermath of his side’s controversial 2-2 stalemate with Valencia last weekend.

After the Spanish football authorities felt his infraction – by way of repeated shouts of ‘it’s a f**king goal’ at referee Jesús Gil Manzano – worthy of a two-game ban, Real Madrid on Thursday launched an appeal.

As confirmed by COPE this afternoon, however, as much has since been rejected.

This means that Bellingham will indeed be forced to sit out both of Los Blancos’ next two La Liga outings.

With Ancelotti and co. having already seen out their Last-16 tie in the Champions League, and an international break fast approaching, this, all told, means that the England international will not be back in action at club level until March 31st, when Real Madrid play host to Athletic Club.
