An insight into the immediate plans of the medical staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappé has on Wednesday been provided.
Frontman Mbappé of course set alarm bells ringing across Spain’s capital late last night.
En route to Real’s 3-2 Champions League downing of Atalanta, the Frenchman, first, opened the scoring in proceedings in Bergamo.
Later in the first-half, however, Mbappé was forced into a premature departure from the action.
As much came after the summer arrival in La Liga pulled up with what appeared to be a muscular concern.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, Carlo Ancelotti was quick to assure that the injury ‘does not look serious’.
The true extent of Mbappé’s issue, though, will not be known until he is put through the necessary round of medical scans and checks.
And, as per a report from Blancos insider Melchor Ruiz of COPE, as much has already been pencilled in, for Thursday:
‘Tomorrow afternoon, tests on Kylian Mbappé on the back of the left leg.’
