What next for Sergio Ramos?

Sergio Ramos is considering his options beyond this season and PSG, report Estadio Deportivo.

The Andaluz defender arrived to the Parc de Princes in the summer of 2021. While he was sidelined with an injury for most of his first season in Paris, he has established himself as a regular starter under Christophe Galtier this season.

However, Ramos’ contract with PSG is set to expire in June 2023 and the club are not willing to sit down to discuss a possible renewal before the club’s Champions League encounter with Bayern Munich.

As his deal with the Parisian side expires in less than six months, the 36-year-old is free to negotiate and sign pre-contractual agreements with other clubs.

It is believed that Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr and LA Galaxy are both interested in the prospect of the signing of the Spaniard.

However, Ramos also wants to return to the Spanish national team, which would be very difficult to do from the Middle East or the MLS. He may need to take a salary cut if he wants to stay in Europe and remain in contention for a spot in La Roja.
