An insight into the stance of Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick when it comes to the potential return of Vitor Roque has on Friday been provided.
And the info will mark a blow for those holding out hope of the Brazilian having a future back in Catalunya’s capital.
Frontman Roque of course secured a departure from Barcelona last summer.
After a hugely disappointing first six months on the books of the Blaugrana, the 19-year-old was farmed out on loan, linking up with Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis for the duration of the campaign.
Roque has since gone on to endure something of a hit-and-miss time of things in Seville.
As much has culminated in reports that the youngster could in turn be on the move once more before the month is out, amid interest on the part of Brazilian heavyweights Palmeiras in his signature.
Whether this proves the case remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: Roque has no future back at Barcelona.
As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Vitor Roque has no future at Barcelona in any case, no matter what happens with Palmeiras and Betis. Hansi Flick doesn’t count on Roque and selling the Brazilian remains one of the next moves planned.’
