In an ideal scenario, Valencia would like to sell Yunus Musah before 30 June in order to start rebuilding their squad as soon as possible, according to Relevo.
This was agreed between the player’s agent and the club, but if anything was made clear in the meeting, it is that at least at this stage of the window, Valencia are expecting a figure of around €25m for the USMNT player.
The player, 20, is enormously grateful to Valencia and will not force a transfer, but a move from Mestalla is expected in the coming weeks. West Ham have asked the player’s agent about the conditions under which he would leave the club.
The €25m price tag may be too high, although the Premier League club, who have just won the UEFA Europa Conference League, have informed the player’s entourage that they are considering making an offer for the midfielder (although not necessarily for €25m).
