Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. brought an end to his summer vacation on Monday morning, linking up with the rest of the club’s stars in pre-season training.
This of course comes as speculation surrounding the Brazilian’s future in Spain’s capital beyond the close of the transfer window continues to swirl across all of Europe.
Vinícius’ Real Madrid contract terms are due to come to a close in 12 months’ time, with the two parties still some way apart in negotiations over a renewal.
This has allowed clubs from across the continent to enter the fray, in a bid to take advantage of the 26-year-old’s precarious situation at present. Premier League champions Arsenal have been the club most heavily linked with a move for Vinícius, eager to add a statement signing to Mikel Arteta’s squad with a view to the new campaign.
All of a Real Madrid persuasion will therefore no doubt have been intrigued by developments at the club’s training ground earlier today.
