All associated with La Liga giants Real Madrid will on Friday evening be smiling ear to ear.
This comes after long-time target Kylian Mbappé at long last made official his impending departure from Paris Saint-Germain.
In a post across the Frenchman’s social media platforms, frontman Mbappé sent a direct, heartfelt message to the fanbase of his long-time club.
The message opens with the 25-year-old announcing that this weekend’s Ligue 1 meeting with Toulouse will mark his very last as a home player at the Parc des Princes.
This comes with Mbappé having come to the definitive decision not to extend the terms of his expiring contract in Paris.
The explosive attacker goes on to afford words of thanks to a whole host of figures, including managers past and present, board members, backroom staff, and, above all, the PSG faithful.
He concludes by assuring that the capital giants are in safe hands amidst their current project, wishing his soon-to-be former employers all the best in their future endeavours.
All that now remains is for Mbappé to officially announce that he has committed to a transfer to Spain, with the aforementioned Real Madrid.
