A member of the Barcelona loan army on Saturday conjured up a moment of individual brilliance.
The player in question? Álex Valle.
Defender Valle secured a fresh departure from Catalunya’s capital this past summer, making the move to Scotland with heavyweights Celtic.
After making his debut in the colours of the Bhoys earlier this week in a cup outing, the 20-year-old followed up with a first appearance in league action on Saturday night.
And, as alluded to above, Valle capped as much with a moment of ingenuity.
Played in over the top of the St. Johnstone backline amid the closing minutes of a 6-0 Celtic victory, the left-back showcased touch, vision and execution alike, in laying off a sumptuous assist for Adam Idah to slot home.
