Barcelona star Ronald Araújo found the net for the very first time in the colours of Premier League heavyweights Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
This came as the Reds secured a much-needed return to winning ways.
Defender Araújo of course sealed something of a surprise move to England this past summer. Faced with another season as a backup option at the heart of Barcelona’s backline, the Uruguayan opted to take his talents to Anfield for the duration of the campaign.
Recent weeks have seen Araújo play an increasingly prominent role, slotting into the right-back berth in Andoni Iraola’s XI.
And as alluded to above, with an assist already to his name, the 27-year-old this evening opened his goalscoring account in the famed Liverpool red.
En route to a 6-3 Champions League victory over Austrian outfit LASK, Araújo kicked the goalscoring into gear, rising highest to nod home a fine header midway through the first-half:
