Watch: New fan footage shows Barcelona star being roughed up during Inter clash

Fan footage stemming from last night’s Champions League showdown between Barcelona and Inter Milan has turned heads online on Wednesday.

This comes after Francesco Acerbi was spotted repeatedly pushing and pulling Barca midfielder Pedri.

The subject of officiating has of course been a leading talking point amongst those of a Blaugrana persuasion over the course of the last 24 hours.

This comes with many of the opinion that Hansi Flick’s troops were altogether hard done by by referee Szymon Marciniak over the course of the 120 minutes at San Siro.

Flick himself, for one, vented post-match:

“Every 50/50 decision that the ref had, he called it in Inter’s favor. This makes me sad.”

The aforementioned Pedri, meanwhile, was also not shy in making his feelings clear, ranting:

“It’s not the first time this has happened to us with this referee. UEFA should look into it. Every 50/50 for them. There are things that I don’t understand and which are hard to explain.”

And as alluded to above, a day on, footage of the kind of treatment to which Barcelona’s midfield standout was subjected in Milan has come to the fore.

The clip in question, captured by a member of the crowd at San Siro, can be seen below:
