Footage which will no doubt warm the hearts of those of a Barcelona persuasion has on Wednesday afternoon come to the fore online.
As much comes by way of the latest first-team training session in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona, of course, are currently in the thick of final preparations for a return to action on Thursday night, when they will kick the club’s Champions League campaign into gear in a meeting with AS Monaco.
Hansi Flick’s star-studded squad, in turn, were put through their paces this morning, no doubt eager to impress in efforts to earn a starting berth on the continent.
Amongst the group on Wednesday was a returning member of the absentee list in Barcelona, in the form of Gavi.
The Spanish international – sidelined since late last year owing to an ACL tear – was last week given the green light to rejoin group activities with the rest of his teammates.
He is not expected to return to competitive action for some time yet, but, evidently, manager Flick is eager for Gavi to be fully clued into ongoings in his setup as soon as possible.
As showcased in the footage below, after a group discussion during training earlier today, Barca’s headmaster specifically sought out Gavi to talk something over, and, from the looks of things, provide advice to his young midfielder:
