The draw for the Round-of-32 in this season’s Copa del Rey was held on Tuesday afternoon.
Reigning champions Barcelona were in turn made aware that their journey in the Spanish domestic cup in 2025/26 will begin with a trip to the aforementioned Guadalajara.
And whilst this will mark just another day in the season of one of European football’s very best clubs, for the Blaugrana’s upcoming hosts, it represents one of the biggest fixtures in their modern history.
It should therefore come as little surprise to hear of excitement having been abound at Guadalajara’s facilities earlier today.
