Watch: Barcelona teammate updated Gavi’s parents on his wellbeing after clash of heads vs Alavés

Footage of Barcelona star Dani Olmo’s actions in the stands during the club’s latest outing have piqued widespread attentions online.

This comes after the Spaniard acted as a go-between for Barca’s medical staff, and the parents of teammate Gavi.

Gavi, for his part, of course set alarm bells sounding in Catalunya’s capital on Sunday afternoon.

This came after the midfielder was involved in a nasty clash of heads during Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

En route to a hard-fought 1-0 victory for Hansi Flick’s troops, Gavi went to ground within the opening quarter of an hour, after a coming together with Tomás Conechny.

From here, the youngster was tended to by Barca’s medical staff, before ultimately being hooked from the action for Fermín López.

Gavi was subsequently taken to the hospital for a round of scans and checks, which confirmed, thankfully, that no lasting damage had been done.

Prior to as much, though, the 20-year-old’s parents, watching on from the stands, were left understandably concerned.

Sitting behind the pair owing to his absence from Barcelona’s squad through injury, the aforementioned Dani Olmo therefore made sure to keep Gavi’s mother and father updated.

After making his way pitchside to gather information on the situation, Olmo was spotted returning to his seat, to provide a full explanation to his compatriot’s parents:
