Barcelona summer signing Gabriel Jesus did his utmost to continue pushing his candidacy for more consistent minutes in the club’s frontline on Tuesday morning.
This came courtesy of an impressive display in front of goal during a training drill at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Frontman Jesus is of course still settling into his new surroundings in Catalunya’s capital, after swapping Arsenal for Barcelona in the closing days of this summer’s transfer window two weeks ago.
The Brazilian has in turn been afforded minimal game time off the bench on matchdays, albeit with a goal already to his name against Feyenoord in the Champions League.
Amid the sparkling form of his competition for places in Hansi Flick’s squad, Jesus is therefore no doubt aware that he will need to perform at an exceptional level in training to work his way into regular minutes.
And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, the 29-year-old looked in precisely that.
In footage provided by ‘BarcaTimes’ on ‘X’, Jesus looked sharp and full of intent during a drill amongst teammates at Barca’s training base this morning:
