Former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr. was responsible for a moment of brilliance in his latest outing back in Brazil.
As much came during Santos’ meeting with Internacional de Limeira.
Santos marked their return to action late on Sunday, with Neymar having been afforded his latest starting berth since the attacker’s January return.
And to say that Neymar went on to impress would be something of an understatement…
En route to a 3-0 triumph, the 33-year-old played a direct hand in all three of Santos’ goals.
As much came by way of a brace of assists for Tiquinho Soares, as well as a rather spectacular goal of his own.
During the first-half on Sunday, Neymar found himself on the receiving end of an altogether hostile reception on the part of the home fans in attendance at the Estádio Major José Levy Sobrinho.
Safe to say, though, that the winger had the last laugh.
After stepping up to take responsibility of a corner from the left, whilst boos and jeers rained down from the stands, Neymar bent a sumptuous delivery directly in off the far post.
