Footage of the incredible scenes in the Spanish city of Bilbao have come to the fore online on Thursday evening.
As much comes amid the festivities organised by the city’s beloved Athletic Club.
Ernesto Valverde’s troops, of course, are fresh off bringing an end to the club’s agonising wait for silverware this past weekend.
After going trophy-less for a full 40 years, the Basque giants held their nerve, to put RCD Mallorca to the sword by way of a penalty shootout in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday night.
And, safe to say, all associated with Athletic have taken full advantage of the opportunity to get into the festive spirit…
Taking to the streets of Bilbao in their droves, the Lehoiak faithful played their part in an absolutely remarkable celebration.
Footage of the scenes in question can be seen below, as Athletic Club’s players and supporters alike rejoiced in the first La Gabarra gathering for four decades:
