The signing of Brazilian sensation Vitor Roque is set to be announced by Barcelona. At 18 years of age he will be one of the most expensive signings in the history of Brazilian football.
Endrick recently made the switch to join Real Madrid, and that deal can reach a total of €60m due to the add-ons. However, Roque’s deal with Barça could be even higher. If the additional criteria are met, the Blaugrana hierarchy will have to pay as much as €61m to Athletico Paraneanse.
Mundo Deportivo understand that Roque will sign until 2029 with a contract that will pay €30m a year and another €31m in possible bonuses. One of the variables is a payment of €1m if he wins the Ballon d’Or.
The forward had interest from Manchester United, PSG and Tottenham but Barça have come out on top in the battle for Roque’s signature. Athletico Paraneanse have a 20% sell-on clause for any future sale of the Brazilian.
