Barcelona will make the signing of Vitor Roque official on Wednesday, according to Mundo Deportivo. The required documentation for the transfer of the player was signed on Sunday, and the two clubs have agreed to make the deal public on Wednesday (12 July).
Barça will pay €30 million fixed plus €31 million in variables for Vitor Roque and the Brazilian club will keep 20% of any future sale. The Brazilian player will sign for one more season than initially planned and has committed to the Catalan club until June 2030, where he will have a release clause of €1 billion.
Although Barça had initially planned to try to sign him this summer, provided they could fit him in through financial fair play, both Barça and Athletico Paranaense have also agreed that the 18-year-old will arrive in Barcelona after the end of the season with his current club, which will be at the end of December.
