Vinicius offered lucrative deal to join PSG

Real Madrid club president Florentino Pérez surprised many with his clarity in an interview with El Chiringuito earlier this week.

When asked about Vinicius, Pérez revealed that the scorer of the winning Champions League final goal had received offers but that the Brazilian only wants to stay in the Spanish capital.

Of all the proposals, the most impressive came from PSG, although Pérez preferred to not reveal the name of the club.

According to Marca’s Mario Cortegana, PSG had been calling Vinicius since November 2021, insistently asking the forward to not sign a new deal with Real Madrid.

The Ligue 1 champions offered him a figure that Madrid could not afford and that he would receive from 2024 onwards: €40 million net per season. That is 12 times more than his current salary and four times more than the next salary he will receive.

In recent months, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all enquired about signing the 21-year-old.

The young forward is set to sign a new deal with Los Blancos until 2026.
