Several leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have this weekend taken to social media, to send messages of support and congratulations the way of on-loan teammate Franco Mastantuono.
This comes fresh off a historic evening for the young Argentine on Friday.
After taking his talents to Italy with Fiorentina during the summer, Mastantuono was for his part afforded his latest start as the Viola made the trip to Venezia.
Fresh off an early-season change on the bench, Fiorentina headed into proceedings desperate to put an end to a winless start to the new Serie A season.
And when all was said and done, a starring performance on the part of their attacking loanee culminated in precisely that. En route to a 4-2 victory, Mastantuono netted a fine hat-trick, to become the youngest Argentine player to ever notch three goals in a single fixture in one of Europe’s top-5 leagues.
And as alluded to above, these exploits did not go at all unrecognised back in Spain’s capital. As revealed by ‘Madrid Xtra’ on ‘X’, Mastantuono was the recipient of social media messages from the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Jr. and Dean Huijsen over the last 24 hours:
