Villarreal without Gerard Moreno for clash with Manchester United

Villarreal have never lost to Manchester United (five draws), and are 26 games unbeaten against non-Spanish opposition (16 wins and 10 draws).

Unai Emery has a squad of players who know what it’s like to play against Premier League opposition. First-team regulars Foyth, Capoue, Alberto Moreno, Coquelin, Parejo and Danjuma have all played in England’s top flight.

Villarreal’s star man Gerard Moreno is out for the Yellow Submarine’s trip to Old Trafford. The Catalan striker, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring strain will be out of action for longer than the club initially expected. Midfielder Manu Trigueros will return to the starting eleven, according to AS.

Gerónimo Rulli looks set to start in goal ahead of Sergio Asenjo again. Although Villarreal are unbeaten this season, they have just one win in eight games and will be hoping for at least another point against Manchester United tonight.
