As reported by transfer-expert Fabrizio Romano, Villareal’s Ben Brereton Díaz is set to sign for Sheffield United on a loan deal until June.
The two clubs have reached an agreement on all aspects of the loan deal and Brereton will travel to England to complete the first part of his medical.
After completing his medical, the forward will then put pen to paper on his contract that commits him to the Premier League club until the summer. In the deal there will be no mandatory or optional buy clause included, however, if the player makes a good impression in Sheffield, the two clubs will likely sit down together to discuss another transfer, perhaps on a more permanent basis.
The South Yorkshire side have had long-standing interest in the 24-year-old and have finally been able to add him to their attack.
