Footage of the chaotic scenes in the buildup to tonight’s showdown between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain has come to the fore online.
The reigning Spanish and French champions are of course primed to lock horns for the 2nd time in the space of a week in short order.
After the former emerged on the right side of a 3-2 result at the Parc des Princes last week, it is now the turn of PSG to head on the road, for the 2nd leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs.
En route to their victory in Paris, Xavi’s Barcelona squad were forced to contend with a raucous atmosphere, both prior to and during the matchup.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the Blaugrana faithful doing their utmost to provide an equally hostile reception to their side’s upcoming opponents on Tuesday.
In efforts towards as much, however, some of the Barca fanbase actually provided members of their own side’s squad with something of a scare.
This came as the individuals in question, mistaking the hosts’ team bus at Montjuïc for that of PSG, directed a series of projectiles at Xavi’s squad ahead of kick-off:
