Valencia want to sign Facundo Pellistri from Manchester United

Valencia have approached Manchester United about signing Facundo Pellistri on loan with an option to buy, according to Relevo.

Pellistri is a winger and Valencia see the young attacker as a promising player, who can come into the first team and who knows La Liga (he played for Alavés).

Los Che are currently enquiring about the possibility of the 21-year-old joining the club this month.

There is also interest in the Uruguay international from Bologna in Italy and Flamengo in Brazil.

Due to injuries to Nico González and Samu Castillejo, Valencia are moving as quickly as possible to try to close deals this month.

The priority, as Gennaro Gattuso has repeatedly stated, is a midfield pivot, and the first player he wanted to bring in and tried to sign was Florian Grillitsch from Ajax.

However, after the Dutch side said no, the Spanish club are still looking for that holding midfielder.
