La Liga outfit Valencia will be forced to make do without the contributions of another member of the club’s backline in their next outing.
This comes amid confirmation that Unai Núñez has been ruled out of Los Che’s clash with RCD Mallorca.
Stopper Núñez for his part trained alongside the rest of his teammates in Valencia on Monday morning.
This gave rise to hope of the 29-year-old having recovered from a recent fitness problem in time for the midweek round of La Liga action.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference, however, Carlos Corberán confirmed that this will not be the case, with Núñez still not available.
The Spaniard joins fellow Los Che centre-backs Mouctar Diakhaby, José Copete and Eray Cömert on the absentee list for the trip to Son Moix.
The news regarding Hugo Duro, though, is more positive, with the attacker at the disposal of boss Corberán for Tuesday evening.
