Valencia in talks for Alavés striker Joselu

AS report that Valencia are in talks for Alavés striker Joselu over a move to Mestalla this summer.

The Alavés striker, who has 11 goals in 23 appearances this season, finishes his contract with the Basque club on 30 June and has several clubs knocking on his door.

The 31-year-old has been a free agent since 1 January and he is not going to renew with Alavés. He has had several proposals, including one from Celta Vigo.

Valencia owner Peter Lim has given the green light to Anil Murthy and Miguel Ángel Corona to sign the striker, a player who is liked by manager José Bordalás and whose signing would allow the departure of Maxi Gómez in the summer.
