Two leading members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid are actively aiding the efforts of young teammate Arda Güler to learn Spanish.
That’s according to The Athletic’s Guillermo Rai, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the Turk’s day-to-day life in Madrid.
Güler is for his part in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss start to the season, yet to convince boss Carlo Ancelotti of his readiness to start on a consistent basis.
The 19-year-old, though, it is assured, remains happy on the books of Los Blancos.
Güler is constantly working to put himself in the best possible position to break into the club’s starting XI, with one such endeavour coming in the form of improving his Spanish.
As per The Athletic:
‘In Madrid, Güler has a physiotherapist, cook and personal fitness trainer, who all live-in at his house. They speak practically no English (in which the player is fluent), sticking to Spanish in an attempt to make his adaptation to Spanish life easier.’
Elsewhere, Güler’s teammates have also long been working to aid the Turkish international’s adaptation, with Federico Valverde and Brahim Díaz, in particular, helping with Spanish lessons.
