La Liga giants Barcelona have this week tied up deals for a fresh pair of additions to the club’s youth ranks.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Gorka Buil and Samu Borniquel as the players all set to take their talents to Catalunya’s capital.
Buil and Borniquel have both spent the recent years of their fledgling careers developing on the books of Real Zaragoza.
The former, just 14 years of age, is a left-footed attacking midfielder, with Borniquel a more orthodox engine room starlet.
Their respective performances in the Zaragoza academy have long caught the eye of a number of Spanish football’s leading clubs, with the pair considered ‘two of the best national players of their generation’.
All of a Barcelona persuasion will therefore no doubt be excited to hear that, beginning next season, both will be plying their trade in La Masia.
As per Sport:
‘Buil and Borniquel are players that Barça had been following for some time, and finally, they will play in the youth ranks of the Barça club next season.’
