The squad of players set to be depended upon by Athletic Club to get the better of Villarreal has this evening been revealed.
After a week of celebrations on the back of their historic Copa del Rey triumph, Athletic will turn their attentions back towards matters in La Liga on Sunday.
A meeting with the aforementioned Villarreal lies in store, at San Mamés.
The matchup represents an altogether important one for Ernesto Valverde’s troops, amid their ongoing efforts to hunt down the top-4 in Spain’s top-flight.
In turn, it will no doubt come as a boost to all associated with the Basque outfit to hear that, tomorrow evening, boss Valverde will have almost a full complement of players to choose from.
Athletic’s matchday squad to take on Villarreal was unveiled a short time ago, featuring no fewer than 24 names.
Only two players of note are set to miss out, in the form of Yeray Álvarez (injury), and Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta (suspension).
