Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona on Monday returned to base at the club, following their respective summer vacations
The pair in question? Robert Lewandowski, and Andreas Christensen.
Both Lewandowski and Christensen, of course, are fresh off lining out for their countries at Euro 2024 over the summer.
The former led the line for Poland, en route to a group stage elimination.
Stopper Christensen, meanwhile, featured from the off in all four of Denmark’s fixtures, on their way to being eliminated by hosts Germany in the round-of-16.
Now fully rested and no doubt raring to go, though, both today linked back up with their club teammates in Catalunya’s capital.
As showcased below, Lewandowski and Christensen were put through a round of medical checks and examinations at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
They have not yet taken part in pre-season training under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, but as much is likely to take place on Tuesday.
