Transfers: 3 moves that could go ahead this summer

Emery and Monchi want Pau Torres

Of all the suitors that Villarreal defender Pau Torres (26) has had in recent weeks, one above all of them have accelerated their interest in the last few hours, report Mundo Deportivo. Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery and sporting director Monchi know the defender well and are interested in making a move for the highly-rated centre-back. His current contract ends in June 2024 and he has a clause of €60m. According to several media outlets, the transfer fee could be around €30-35m.

Almería could lose Ramazani

Vicente Moreno’s Almería could lose an important part of their attack in the summer transfer window. While the spotlight is on the possible departure of El Bilal Touré (21), another man in the Almería forward line is accumulating suitors. Largie Ramazani, the 22-year-old Belgian player is attracting interest from a number of European clubs. The latest is French side Nantes.

Puado could leave Espanyol

Javi Puado (25) could join the list of players who could leave relegated Espanyol this summer. According to some reports, the Catalan forward’s name is one of those that Valencia are considering with a view to bringing him in as a reinforcement for next season. His release clause, after the contract he signed in 2021, until 2026, is €60m.
