Tottenham accept Atlético Madrid’s offer for Sergio Reguilón

As broken by Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham and Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement over the transfer of Sergio Reguilón.

Yesterday it communicated that Los Colchoneros are in the market for a left-back if they manage to offload Renan Lodi to Nottingham Forest.

It was reported today that Atlético Madrid have arrived at a deal with the Premier League side regarding the transfer of the Brazilian. He will join The Tricky Trees on loan with the club having the option to purchase him permanently at the end of the season.

The transfer has opened the door for the Spanish outfit to begin the process of signing of Reguilón before the transfer window closes.

It is believed that according to the agreement the 25-year-old will join Atléti on loan, with the club having no option to buy him after the expiration of the deal.

Reguilón arrived to Tottenham from Real Madrid in 2020, but he is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans at White Hart Lane.
