Former Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has personally endorsed the club’s move for a leading midfield transfer target.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Angelo Stiller as the player in question.
The name of German international Stiller, of course, has reemerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the last 24 hours.
This comes amid confirmation that the signing of the Stuttgart standout is very much back on the agenda at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Amid an ongoing search for a player capable of controlling games from the middle of the park, Xabi Alonso and co. are understood to have identified Stiller as the ideal option.
And any such transfer swoop, as alluded to above, would come with the blessing of nothing short of a midfield icon at Real Madrid.

‘The Stuttgart midfielder would arrive with the endorsement of Toni Kroos’ recommendation.’
