Speaking to German media, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos admitted that he believes other leagues will find it difficult to finish their seasons if the Bundesliga can’t be completed.
After a two month break due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Bundesliga will return this weekend. La Liga is expected to return in June.
“Here, we’re all under the impression that if the Bundesliga doesn’t get it right, no other league will. Germany had the lowest numbers of fatalities and infections from COVID-19. If they can’t finish their league, who can?”
