A fresh insight into the future of Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has on Monday been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of The Athletic, and points towards Kroos having already come to a decision on his plans for next season.
The German international’s future has of course remained up in the air throughout the term to date.
As much comes ahead of the expiration of his contract with Real Madrid at the end of June.
Though media sources have pointed towards a one-year renewal as being very much on the cards, Kroos himself has remained tight-lipped on the subject, with the Blancos brass, too, unwilling to comment on the situation.
It will therefore no doubt be of interest to those of a Real persuasion to hear that Kroos has now made his decision.
As per The Athletic, ‘he has now made up his mind.’
It remains unclear exactly what conclusion the 34-year-old has reached, but it is added that:
‘Sources briefed on the situation — who, like all those cited here, wanted to speak anonymously to protect relationships — said that his decision would be communicated soon.’
