Toni Kroos was left on the bench for Real Madrid’s first leg Champions League defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday night but is expected to be brought back into the team’s starting X! for El Clásico. The German midfielder has featured in 31 of 35 matches for Zinedine Zidane’s side so far this season, scoring five times and assisting on eight occasions. Sunday night’s match will be Kroos’ 15th Clásico, if he gets the nod, however he has yet to score in the fixture. Since joining Los Blancos in 2014, the former Bayern Munich player has been involved in four wins, four draws and six defeats against Barça.
