Tite calls up five players from La Liga to Brazil’s World Cup squad

Tite has announced his 26-man squad for the World Cup, report Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazilian coach has decided to include five players from La Liga in the side that he is planning to take to Qatar.

It comes as no surprise that Tite has chosen to include Real Madrid forwards Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo in his squad. The two youngsters played a crucial role in helping Los Blancos win their 14th Champions League title last season. Éder Militão, who has cemented himself as one of the best defenders in the league, is also included.

Raphinha, who started the season well for Barcelona following his arrival from Leeds United this past summer, is tipped to start on the right wing for Brazil.

Tite is also taking with him Alex Telles, who is on loan from Manchester United.

Brazil start their World Cup campaign later this month against Serbia on November 24.
